Further to the recent announcement for Industrial Action the Postal Executive have agreed to set up a helpline for any enquiries relating to the dispute.
It will be our intention to place the telephone numbers in the next letter sent to all members’ home addresses. The correspondence will make it quite clear that any initial enquiries should be raised with their respective branches, and branch officials should manage and respond to any enquiries wherever possible. However, CWU headquarters fully appreciate that there will be times when branches are unable to provide answers to certain questions therefore the helpline will be put in place to assist members and branches wherever possible.
During the Industrial Action called on Friday, 29th June the helpline will be covered by members of the Postal Executive on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th June and Monday, 2nd July.
The telephone numbers are:
020 8971 7350
And
020 8971 7380
Any enquiries to the DGSP department, quoting reference 6000
